Sensei Daniel Cavaliere
Sensei Daniel Cavaliere is the chief instructor in San Luis Obispo’s United States Academy of Martial Arts and has been training in martial arts since 1986.
Sensei Daniel Cavaliere is a talented instructor who makes learning fun as well as challenging. Students will leave each class with a greater understanding of martial arts while at the same time looking forward to coming back for another fun, dynamic class.
Sempai Mary Cavaliere
Sempai Mary Cavaliere has been training since 2003 and has earned a brown belt. Her background working with children as well as her master’s degree from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo in education, helps develop USAMA students both physically and emotionally.

Sensei Drew Fischer
Sensei Drew Fischer began his training in 2002 under Shihan Krupa in Concord. Upon attending Cal Poly, he continued his training with Sensei Daniel Cavaliere and earned his First-Degree Black Belt in 2009. Sensei Drew continues his training at the United States Academy of Martial Arts in San Luis Obispo and enjoys his roll as an instructor.
Ray Rodriguez (Kickboxing Conditioning Instructor)
Ray's true passion, and the majority of his active background has been in the martial arts and kickboxing. With nine years experience in Karate, ten years in kickboxing, and traditional Filipino weapons training Ray is skilled in the martial arts and the physical conditioning required to be successfull. Ray has helped prepare kickboxer's for competition and currently holds a cornerman's license with the California State Athletic Commission.

Jonathan Lazatin (Instructor for USAMA' Team Xtreme Karate)
Jonathan Lazatin is a high ranking and decorated black belt with a specialty in "Xtreme" martial arts. He is the lead instructor for USAMA' TXK program helping students perform martial arts techniques with an emphasis on Xtreme Martial Arts "Tricking", dynamic aerials, and explosive stunting.
